Project 3 - Presentation Board and
Model Making
Project 3 is an individual project related to Project 3 in Architectural Design I. It requires students to produce a presentation board and a 3D model. The model is a 3-dimensional expression of the design at a scale of 1:20. For the presentation board, it is a tool to showcase the design process and provide a summary of Project 3. We are recommended not just to produce the orthographic drawing but also exploded axonometric drawing and abstract drawing. It is a good indication showing how much students learned in this module.

Reflection
Within this project, I've learned the skill of creating scaled drawings of architectural 3D model. Also, I've picked up the skills in designing different layouts for each of my presentation boards in order to express the style of the 3D model. In this project, I've gained valuable experience in conceiving the model and the style of my presentation boards. I used rhythm as the design principle based on my Project 1 of Architectural Design Module. It is representing on the wavy exterior wall and concrete blocks with different heights. My architectural design style of this model mostly drew from organic shapes in nature as it represents the natural obstacles I faced in the narrative.
